A Fredericksburg woman was arrested for DUI on Friday after an accident in a Walmart parking lot.

On October 7th at 2:27 p.m. Deputy L.R. Taylor responded to the Washington Square Plaza Walmart for a private property accident and possible drunk driver. Witnesses reported the driver of a Dodge Dart had struck another vehicle in the parking lot and the driver seemed confused.

Deputy Taylor arrived and identified the driver as Ashley Sullivan, 35. He also learned there was a young child in Sullivan’s vehicle. Sullivan was arrested for DUI and felony child endangerment and the child was turned over to a responsible relative.

A search warrant for Sullivan’s blood was obtained and she was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 bond.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
