A Stafford man is in jail after his arrest for DUI yesterday following a single vehicle crash.

On September 17th at 1:45 a.m. Deputy M.A. Holub responded to a single vehicle crash in the area of Morton Road and Primmer House Drive. He arrived to find a Mazda SUV had left the roadway and struck a guardrail.

The driver was identified as Joshua Leyton, 21. Leyton had bloodshot, glassy eyes and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath.

Leyton was charged with DUI second offense in five years and driving after forfeiture of license. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
