In case there was any doubt, do not try to smuggle drugs into the jail when you are turning yourself in.

On August 12th at 7:25 p.m. Deputy A.J. Deasy responded to the Rappahannock Regional Jail for a drug call. His investigation revealed Blanca Najera Morega, 44, had reported to the jail to serve a sentence imposed by a Spotsylvania court. During the booking process, a search revealed Najera Morega had concealed medication she was attempting to smuggle into the jail.

The medication was seized and Najera Morega was charged with having a chemical compound while in the custody of a correctional facility. She was held without bond.
