An early morning accident in North Stafford yesterday resulted in the arrest of a suspect for DUI.

On June 27th at 4:02 a.m. Sergeant D.T. Aubrecht responded to a single vehicle accident in the 200 block of Joshua Road. He arrived to find a white Mercedes Benz sedan upside down on the wooded shoulder of the road.

The driver, and lone occupant, was assisted from the vehicle by Good Samaritans and identified as Manuel Sivirian Tejada, 19, of Stafford. After confirmation Sivirian Tejada was uninjured, field sobriety tests were offered. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Sivirian Tejada was charged with DUI with a blood alcohol content between .15 and .20 and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.

With the holiday weekend approaching, make plans now to have a sober ride. Do not be our next news release for a DUI arrest. Drive sober or get pulled over.
