No this isn’t the same article you just read. Unfortunately, we were able to reuse the title. Another third offense DUI was removed from a Stafford roadway this weekend after a single vehicle crash in Widewater.

On June 5th at 1:38 p.m. Deputy D.R. Colona responded to a single vehicle accident in the 800 block of Widewater Road. He arrived to find a white Hyundai Elantra off the roadway in the wood line.

The driver was identified as Matthew White, 43, of Stafford. White had an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath and field sobriety tests were conducted. Additionally, he was found to have a revoked license and two prior DUI arrests.

White was charged with DUI third offense in five years and driving revoked. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
