A Stafford man was arrested early this morning after causing a disturbance in a North Stafford apartment complex.

On June 3rd at 12:35 a.m. Deputy E.T. Osborn responded to Garrison Woods for a loud music complaint. As the deputy walked through the complex, he identified the loud music source as a subject sitting on the trunk of a car with a Bluetooth speaker. The subject also had a bottle of Mike’s Hard Strawberry Lemonade.

The subject was identified as Edward Davies, 35, and he was not fond of the request to turn the music down. He initially turned it off, but subsequently turned it back on. Davies began walking aggressively toward the deputy, spouting vulgar phrases.

Davies was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober, allowing the residents to sleep peacefully the rest of the night.
