Repeat DUI Offender Arrested

A Stafford man is in jail without bond after his arrest for fourth offense DUI while waiting for an oil change.

On May 5th at 10:15 a.m. Deputy V.L. Powell responded to Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 508 Garrisonville Road for an intoxicated driver complaint. The investigation revealed Robert Watt, 59, had driven to the business for the oil change and was seen with a bottle of alcohol while waiting in his vehicle.

Deputy Powell noticed Watt had glassy eyes, slurred speech and an odor of alcoholic beverage. He was subsequently arrested for DUI fourth offense in ten years and driving revoked alcohol related. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
