DUI Arrest

A repeat DUI offender was jailed yesterday after being stopped for reckless driving by speed.

On May 2nd at 8:22 p.m. Deputy C.T. Richardson stopped a vehicle in the 2500 block of Mountain View Road for travelling 80 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. The driver was identified as Omar Munoz, 28, of Stafford.

Subsequent to a DUI investigation, Munoz was arrested. He was charged with DUI second offenses in five years with an elevated blood alcohol content over .20 and reckless driving. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 bond.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
