A repeat DUI offender is jailed without bond after being stopped Monday night in Stafford County.

On April 25th at 9:23 p.m. Deputy A.G. Booth stopped a blue Chevy Traverse after witnessing the vehicle fail to maintain the lane of travel and nearly crashing into another vehicle on U.S. 1 near Hospital Center Boulevard. The driver was identified as Luciano Hidalgo, 35, of Stafford.
Hidalgo was arrested and a search warrant for blood was executed. He was charged with DUI third or subsequent offense and the traffic lane violation. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
