DUI Arrest

A Stafford County deputy was able to make a DUI arrest after witnessing an accident in North Stafford early Sunday morning.

On April 3rd at 1:27 a.m. Sergeant K.P. Lytle, Jr. witnessed a Ford Focus slam into the rear of a Ford F-250 near the intersection of Garrisonville Road and Mine Road. The drivers were checked for injuries and the driver of the Focus was identified as Michael Maslowski, Jr., 30, of Quantico.

Maslowski was unsteady on his feet and had glassy eyes. There was also an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his vehicle. Field sobriety tests were offered and he was arrested.

Maslowski was charged with DUI with a blood alcohol content over .20 and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 bond.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
