A Stafford man faces a disorderly conduct charge after unleashing a profanity laden tirade threatening elementary aged juveniles on a school bus Friday afternoon.

This weekend, the Stafford Sheriff’s Office investigated a serious incident which occurred on a public school bus Friday afternoon. Deputies learned Cortez Smith, 34, boarded an elementary school bus to confront children he believed were bullying. The incident occurred at a bus stop in Shadow Woods subdivision and there were approximately 23 students on board.

Smith proceeded to curse and shout threats toward the students and the student’s family for nearly a minute before storming off the bus. Smith was served with a warrant for disorderly conduct and has been trespassed from the schools. This is an ongoing investigation.
