We have heard of beetles in flowers, but deputies are searching for flowers in a Beetle. A suspect, who may have missed Valentine’s Day or is trying to be really prepared for Mother’s Day, is being sought after stealing flowers from the front of a Stafford residence.

On March 28th Deputy R.L. Hubbard responded to Wellspring Hills subdivision for the theft of potted plants. The suspect is captured on surveillance video driving through the neighborhood and pilfering potted plants.

The suspect is a white male driving a light green VW Beetle and he was last seen with a fistful of pink flowers. If you have any information, please contact Deputy Hubbard at 540-658-4400.
