A woman arrested for public intoxication earlier this week at a local motel, was also found to have an active warrant for her arrest.

On March 22nd at 12:21 a.m. Sgt. J.A. Mangan III, Sgt. L.A. Burgess and Deputy C.M. Sterne were patrolling the area of the Red Roof Inn on Warrenton Road. They located a female with slurred speech who was unsteady on her feet. She was arrested for public intoxication and initially provided the name Crystal Young.

Deputy Sterne determined she was Amanda Crystal Young, 30, of no fixed address and she was wanted on a Stafford Capias for violation of a condition of release. Young was charged with public intoxication and served the outstanding warrant. She was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
