It wasn’t Popeye and Bluto, but an altercation between two women at the Garrisonville Road Popeye’s elicited a response from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

On March 5th at 7:44 p.m. Deputy E.T. Osborn responded to the restaurant at 253 Garrisonville Road for an assault. The investigation revealed a DoorDash customer was upset over an error in her order. She did not take kindly to being told, “wait a second” by another customer. There were conflicting accounts as to who got in who’s personal space first, but a rumpus soon erupted.

Due to the differing versions of events, no charges were placed for the brief brawl. Please exercise a little patience and compassion in your daily activities.
