From yesterday morning through the early morning hours today, Stafford deputies were able to make three arrests of suspects wanted in other jurisdictions. At 8:39 a.m. yesterday morning, Deputy J.E. Alford stopped a speeder in the area of U.S. 1 and Kings Crest Drive. The driver was identified as Candice Draughn, 41, of Triangle. She was found to be wanted in Prince Georges County, Maryland for larceny. She was arrested and a fugitive from justice warrant was obtained by Deputy P.A. Thomas. The magistrate released Draughn on an unsecure bond. At 7:25 p.m. deputies obtained information Thomas Jones, 36, of Catlett, was on Cabell Road and wanted in other jurisdictions. The information was correct, and Jones was arrested on an indecent liberties warrant from Madison County and three protective order violations from Prince William County. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. This morning at 12:37 a.m. Deputy R.L. Hubbard responded to a motor vehicle accident on U.S. 1 near Canterbury Village. One of the parties on the scene was identified as Eugene Ellis, 30, of Stafford. Ellis was found to have a failure to obey a court order warrant from Prince William County. He was arrested and subsequently released by the magistrate on an unsecure bond. |
