UPDATE: Joshua Mitchell turned himself in yesterday. He is being held on a $1,000 secured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. We thank the public for their assistance and tips on this case!

In August of 2019, Joshua Mitchell, 37, of Stafford, was discovered to be the suspect in the theft of a pipe tool valued at $6,000. Law enforcement databases found that Mitchell pawned the item in Prince William County. The tool was then recovered by deputies and returned to the owner. Mitchell was arrested for grand larceny on August 22, 2019. He is now wanted for a felony capias for contempt of court in connection with court proceedings for this case.
