Over the past several months, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of vandalism and trespassing at the Cannon Ridge Golf Club clubhouse. The Special Problems Unit along with patrol deputies began conducting extra patrols and surveillance at the clubhouse. The Special Problems Unit also installed a security camera with a direct link to the Sheriff’s Office inside the clubhouse.
On November 13 at 8:35 p.m., the Special Problems Unit observed security footage that showed two suspects trespassing at the clubhouse. Deputy R.S. Dominguez responded and located David Garrison, 36, of Stafford, and Stephen Johnson, 19, of Fredericksburg, in the parking lot. It was determined Garrison and Johnson had entered the clubhouse through a side door before exiting and encountering the deputy. Both were charged with entering property to damage and trespassing. They were then released.
The members of the Special Problems Unit are commended for their enhanced enforcement efforts and their coordination with the property owner.
