UPDATE:
James Johnson was apprehended in King George County on December 25. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

On October 17 at 10:23 a.m., Deputy S.A. Russo was on patrol in the 1000 block of Kings Highway when he observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The deputy turned on the patrol vehicle’s emergency equipment to stop the vehicle. The driver turned into a parking lot and began using evasive maneuvers in an attempt to lose the deputy. The pursuit continued back on Kings Highway and the vehicle was observed driving 82mph in a 55mph zone. The pursuit was terminated at the King George County line. Deputy Russo was later able to identify the driver as James Johnson, 35, of King George. Johnson is wanted for eluding and two counts of reckless driving.
