A suspect was arrested for brandishing a weapon at a group trick-or-treating in Stafford on Halloween evening.

On October 31 at 7:11 p.m., deputies responded to Jett Street for a report of a brandishing. The adult victims told deputies they were in a group trick-or-treating when they observed a vehicle speeding. One of the victims yelled for the driver to slow down. The driver stopped and got out of his car. He approached the victims and produced a firearm from his waistband before leaving the area.

Deputy D.R. Ludolph obtained the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. The vehicle was located by deputies on Manor Lane and the suspect was identified as Donnell Minor, 39, of Fredericksburg. Minor was arrested for brandishing. He was released on a $3,500 unsecured bond.
