Homicide Suspect Arrested

The suspect, Wesley “Ray” Whiting, Jr, in the September 25th homicide of Calvin Whiting has been taken into custody. Whiting Jr. turned himself in to Stafford County Sheriff’s deputies at the Ford T. Humphrey Public Safety Building (1225 Courthouse Road) on September 26. Whiting Jr. is charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
