ROAD CLOSURES: The Halloween 5K and Monster Mile is coming up this weekend here in Stafford County. We want to alert the public to the following road closures set to occur the morning of October 26, 2019 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

• Mine Road south will be shut down between Embrey Mill Road and Courthouse Road. All traffic attempting to reach Courthouse Road should use Austin Ridge Drive. All traffic reaching the intersection of Embrey Mill Road will be directed onto westbound Embrey Mill Road.

• Embrey Mill Road eastbound (towards Mine Road) will be closed. Traffic will only be permitted to go west on Embrey Mill Road towards Winding Creek Road.

Anyone seeking to access the event or the Rouse Center should access Mine Road via Courthouse Road and make the left into the Rouse Center. We are asking motorists to use caution in the area and follow the direction of Sheriff’s Office personnel on scene controlling traffic. Enjoy your weekend and drive safely!
