Stafford Sheriff’s Office Searching for Burglary Suspect

Stafford, VA. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect behind two breaking and entering incidents.

On May 7, 2019, at approximately 9:31 p.m., Deputy Richardson responded to reports of a past occurred breaking and entering at a residence located on the 100 block of Pilot Knob Loop. Deputy Richardson and Deputy Mangan cleared the residence and made contact with the resident.

The resident showed the deputies security footage from inside the home that revealed an unknown subject rifling through a purse and peering out a window multiple times. The only item stolen from the home was leftover Chinese food from the refrigerator.

In the meantime, a nearby resident reported a separate breaking and entering incident that occurred at her home on the 200 block of Pilot Knob Loop. The resident told deputies that a gaming system was stolen from her home.

Deputies canvassed the neighborhood, but were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (540) 658-4400.
