Two Suspects Arrested Following Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle

Stafford, VA. Two suspects who were observed breaking into vehicles were arrested in the early morning hours on Wednesday following a pursuit.

On December 5, 2018, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Deputy James Wright responded to the 100 block of Jousting Court regarding a suspicious persons report. Three subjects were observed peering into vehicles with flashlights and were last seen getting into a black sedan. Upon arrival, the deputy located the vehicle, which returned stolen out of Leesburg, VA.

Deputy Wright attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the suspect vehicle accelerated and a pursuit ensued. In the area of Dent Road, the vehicle struck a deputy’s cruiser and continued traveling onto Regents Lane where the vehicle came to a stop. The three occupants then fled on foot.

After a short pursuit, the driver was apprehended by Deputy Justin Forman. The suspect was identified as Chanise Stroble, 20, of Alexandria and is charged with felony eluding, reckless driving, receiving stolen property, felony hit and run, possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice, and driving after forfeiture of her license. She was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

The second suspect was apprehended by 1st Sergeant Christopher Neuhard. The suspect was identified as Sabrina Ali, 18, of Annandale and she is charged with possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice. She was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2500.00 secured bond.

The third suspect remains at the large. The K9 and drone teams were called out to the scene, but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
