Stafford Sheriff’s Office Searching for Suspects Behind AT&T Burglary

Stafford, VA. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects involved in a burglary that occurred at the AT&T store located at 28 South Gateway Drive in the early morning hours on Thursday. The suspects stole approximately $80,000.00 worth of phones and cash.

On November 15, 2018, at approximately 2:46 a.m., 1st Sergeant Christopher Neuhard, Sergeant Jason Aubry, and Deputy Scott Fulford responded to the AT&T store for a burglar alarm.

Surveillance footage revealed that two suspects wearing face masks and carrying crowbars entered the store at approximately 2:40 a.m. by breaking the front window. They forced entry into the storage room where they took an estimated $80,000.00 worth of phones and cash before fleeing the store. They were in the store for approximately five minutes.

A K9 unit responded to the scene, but was unable to track down the suspects. Other units checked the surrounding area, but did not observe anyone traveling on foot.
