Stafford, VA. A suspect involved in the shooting that occurred at a residence on Knollwood Court in Stafford County on June 25, 2018 was arrested in Fredericksburg on Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Corie Stepon Byrd, 28, of Woodbridge is incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail on charges of aggravated malicious wounding, attempted murder, shooting or stabbing in commission of a felony, use or display of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharge of a firearm in an occupied building.
