Two Suspects Arrested for Shoplifting at Stafford Walmart

Stafford, VA. Deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects on Saturday for shoplifting at the Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 14 N Stafford Complex Center.

On May 19, 2018, at approximately 6:27 p.m., Deputy Elliott Taylor responded to a reported larceny in progress at the Walmart. The manager had observed two females leaving the store with two full-size grocery carts filled with unpurchased items.

The suspects were identified as Genevieve Lee Harrison, 33, of Fredericksburg and Jennifer Cecilia Henault, 38, of Stafford. They admitted to stealing the items.

Walmart employees rang up the items to estimate the total cost of the stolen merchandise. The first cart contained 162 items totaling $542.75. The second cart contained 73 items totaling $260.76. Additional unpaid items were discovered in the suspects’ vehicles totaling $54.94.

Both suspects were incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail and charged with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony. Harrison was held without bond and Henault was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
