Incident This Morning On Commuter Train

At approximately 0730 hours this morning, Stafford County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a male subject on a commuter train making threats to other passengers. The incident began when the subject boarded the train at the Fredericksburg Station and continued as the train traveled to the Leeland Station. Numerous passengers observed his demeanor and heard his threats.

The subject is now in custody and will be interviewed by Sheriff’s Detectives and the FBI. K-9 bomb-detecting units have cleared the train and are checking the parking lot at this time.

Fredericksburg City Police Department has been notified. No one has been injured in this incident.
