Maryland Men Arrested for Attempting to Steal Trailer |

On May 28, 2017, at approximately 12:30 AM patrol units were advised that a citizen was following a blue Chevy Suburban on Interstate 95 because he had witnessed the vehicle’s occupants attempting to steal a car trailer from Potomac Creek Drive. Deputy A.I. Assur responded to the location of the trailer and reported damage to its wiring. The wires had been stripped, and the clippings remained on the ground underneath the trailer. Deputy Flick observed through the back window of the Suburban wire cutters, wire pieces, adapters, wire cutters, a tow hitch, pieces of cut wire, flashlights and gloves. Jeffrey Jackson Brown, age 42, and Lawrence Lee Patrick age 71, both of Mills Creek Drive in Lusby MD., were charged with Grand Larceny, Conspiracy to Commit Grand Larceny, Possession of Burglary Tools, Conspiracy to Possess Burglary Tools and Destruction of Property. They were incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail and held with no bond. |
