Multiple Charges Follow Cocaine Use

On April 10, 2017, at approximately 4:15 PM, Sergeant J.L. Rakoczy responded to assist rescue in the 500 block of White Oak Road. Upon arrival, he was advised by rescue personnel that a female in their care was in possession of narcotics. Sergeant Rakoczy identified the subject as Cullen Jones and retrieved a baggie containing a white powdery substance.

Sergeant Rakoczy then interviewed a witness who stated she had been a passenger in Ms. Jones’ vehicle. The witness explained how Ms. Jones was pulling out of her driveway when she started to seize up and then pass out. The passenger steered the car safely to the side of White Oak Road and then called for medical assistance. Sergeant Rakoczy also spoke with Ms. Jones who admitted that the substance contained in the baggie was cocaine. Narcotics Detectives responded to the scene and conducted a search of the residence where marijuana and other paraphernalia were also recovered.

Ms. Jones was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation where she was treated and released.

Cullen Rae Jones, age 40 of White Oak Road in Stafford, VA, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana, Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Controlled Paraphernalia and No Driver’s License. She was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $3000 secured bond
