Stafford, Va. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office announces the arrest of Ted Thomas Johnson, age 48 of Stafford County. Johnson has been charge with 1 Count of Attempted Custodial Indecent Liberties with a Child and Misdemeanor Sexual Battery. Mr. Johnson is currently incarcerated in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
Ted Johnson was charged on February 18 after a 13 year old female, non-family member complained that Johnson had attempted to sexually assault her. Stafford County Detective Shawn Efimenco, along with authorities from the Manassas City Police Department, executed a search warrant at Osborne High School and Mayfield Intermediate School to take possession of Johnson's work computers.
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is asking if there are any other victims of this type of assault by Mr. Johnson to contact the Sheriff's Office at 540-658-4450.
