What is a Crime Report?
A Crime Report is a brief synopsis of Sheriff's Reports that had taken place during a certain period of time. The Crime Report may not include all reports received.
What do the colors mean?
The Stafford Sheriff's Office divided the county into 4 sections as a reference. For a map, click here.

When do these reports get posted on the website and emailed?
Reports are posted on the Stafford Sheriff's Website, as well as emailed, periodically (usually at least once a week) as they are prepared. They are attached to an email as a Word Document as well as a PDF document.
NOTE: In addition to the Crime Reports, you will also receive various informational emails to include News Releases, Crime Alerts, Stafford Star Newsletter, event information, and Crime Solvers Crime of the Week.
Crime Reports do not include all incidents that were reported for the specified time period.
