STAFFORD MARKET PLACE EVENT
There will another event this year in the Target Parking Lot of the Stafford Marketplace on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This is an open event and anyone can stop in and stay as long as they like. This event is intended to be a supplement to neighborhood events. We encourage each neighborhood/area to have their own NNO event to help their community and neighbors get to know one another.
**If you are a business/organization that is interested in helping with the Stafford Market Place event, please contact 1st Sergeant Darrell English at email@example.com or click here to register your business or organization.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:
Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Visit National Night Out Web Site to find out more about the history of NATW and National Night Out.
NNO has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation. Plus, the benefits your community will derive from NNO will most certainly extend well beyond the one night.
Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods 'celebrate' NNO with a variety of events and activities such as:
