A two-car collision occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. yesterday claimed the life of Carole Stewart Beresh, a 60-year-old Stafford woman. The accident occurred at the corner of State Route 610 (Garrisonville Road) and Eustace Road.

Beresh was traveling westbound on Garrisonville Road and struck an oncoming vehicle while turning left onto Eustace Road. Beresh who was unrestrained, was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was also transported to the Stafford Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges are being filed in the accident and the investigation is complete.
