Suspect Arrested In February's Home Invasion Robbery

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of an individual who has been charged in relation to a Home Invasion Robbery that took place on February 10, 2016 in the 1900 block of Sierra Drive.

Two men forcibly entered a residence that was occupied by two individuals, one being a ten-year-old boy. Steven Randall Williams, age 25, was arrested and charged with 10 felonies over the weekend. The charges include Breaking and Entering, Armed Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Grand Larceny and 2 Counts of Abduction.

Detective J.R. Duggins led the investigation and was assisted by Detectives R.S. Parson, J.S. Massine and Deputy R. Mervil.

Williams is currently incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. This arrest was made due to the outstanding interviewing techniques and great communication efforts of the detectives and deputies involved. The investigation is continuing as the detectives are looking for other suspect(s).
