The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of David Alan Schwartz, age 35, of Woodbridge. Schwartz has been indicted on 1 count of Object Sexual Penetration by Force and 1 count of Aggravated Sexual Battery.

On November 15, 2015 Stafford authorities received a report that an 11-year-old female Stafford resident had been sexually assaulted by 35 year old David Alan Schwartz. Schwartz was a friend of the 11-year-old victim’s family. Detective Jason Dembowski initiated an investigation which revealed that Schwartz had been at the victim’s home in Stafford for a bon fire on the night of October 30, 2015. Schwartz stayed the night at the victim’s home. At some point during the night Schwartz sexually assaulted the 11-year-old victim. The 11-year-old victim told her mother about the sexual assault a few weeks later after she learned that she and her family would be attending a party in which Schwartz would be present. The victim’s mother immediately contacted authorities.

Schwartz is currently incarcerated in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
