Stafford County Sheriff’s Office
Executive Training Center Equipment
The goal of this grant is to outfit and upgrade the Executive Training Center with new chairs. The Executive Training Center is a training room within the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. The Executive Training Center is used primarily by deputies and civilian staff employed by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office for classroom training. The Executive Training Center has been used by Stafford County Government and the Department of Criminal Justice Services for various classes and meetings
This grant will allow us to purchase chairs for the Executive Training Center. The equipment used will assist us with the hiring of personnel by giving them a place to sit while taking the entrance exam. The chairs will be used when we hold conferences and training for the deputies within the agency for their annual in-service hours. This includes various classes that we host for entities such as IACP and DCJS. The Stafford Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to community policing and this grant will allow us to continue using the training center for events such as Drive 55 by AARP, National Night Out, and Neighborhood Watch programs within Stafford County. The Executive Training Center will also be used for Crime Prevention. Classes are given to help educate the citizens of Stafford County of current swindles within the community and help businesses detect fraud.
