Dear Professional Educators:

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week and on behalf of the men and women of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Teachers of Stafford County for the excellent job they do each and every day.

Every one of us can remember with fondness that specific teacher or group of teachers that made an impact in our lives. That teacher that made us feel special and valued. That teacher who opened up a world of active learning that showed us that knowledge could be fun and exciting. That teacher who took the extra time to ensure that we were successful…not only in academics but in our social or emotional life as well.

The citizens of Stafford County are very fortunate to have the caliber of dedicated, professional educators that work in our schools. As a parent of two sons I have seen this clearly illustrated. I am keenly aware of the hours of hard work that are required to provide students with a quality education. I am grateful for that effort. Many thanks for all that you do and always keep in mind that your commitment to serving the young people of Stafford County is noted and greatly appreciated.

With admiration and respect,

Charles E. Jett
Sheriff
