Stafford, Va. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a robbery that took place this morning, November 16, 2013 at the Stellar One Bank at 25 Banks Ford Parkway in Stafford County.

The Emergency Communication Center received a hold-up alarm this morning at 9:30 from the Stellar One bank. As multiple units responded to the bank an employee told a dispatcher that the bank had just been robbed by one man who had just left. Deputies arrived on scene and an area perimeter was established as the investigation into the incident was initiated. After a 2 hour search the suspect was not located.

Bank employees told deputies that a male entered the store, came to the counter, displayed a gun and demanded money from the tellar. Upon getting an undetermined amount of money the subject left the bank on foot. At the time of the robbery there were no other customers in the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’11, skinny, wearing a black nylon jacket, a red cap with a black plaid design on the front of the cap. The suspect also had a small goatee under his lip.

Anyone who has information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office at 540-658-4400 or call Stafford Crime Solvers at 540-659-2020.
