ROUTE 1 LANE CLOSURES PLANNED OVERNIGHT
AT FALMOUTH BRIDGE
Single lane closures scheduled early Friday morning for sign measurement

FREDERICKSBURG – Route 1 traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction on the Falmouth Bridge between Fredericksburg and Stafford County early Friday morning.

The right lane of northbound and southbound Route 1 will be closed on the bridge between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16.

Workers will be measuring an overhead sign. The sign was damaged by a contractor during a sidewalk rehabilitation project. The sign is being replaced at the contractor’s expense.
