On April 30, 2017, Deputy J.T. Forman responded to the Stafford Hospital Center for a Hit and Run that had previously occurred. Upon arrival Deputy Forman was flagged down by a female subject standing next to her damaged Hyundai SUV. Information was exchanged, and Deputy Forman then entered the Hospital to inquire about security footage pertaining to the incident. After reviewing footage, Deputy Forman determined that a Purple Dodge Durango clearly struck the Hyundai and appeared to make contact with another vehicle in the parking lot. The driver was struggling to navigate and park the vehicle properly.

Deputy Forman then attempted to locate the other vehicle that was struck as well as the Purple Durango. Neither vehicle was found. A short time later he was called back to Stafford Hospital for another Hit and Run. He met another female subject near her Honda Civic. He documented the damage and contacted the Hospital’s security staff to determine who was driving the Dodge Durango. Security staff was able to produce a different video clip clearly showing the Purple Durango’s license plate. Deputy Forman obtained a DMV photo and compared it with additional video footage of individuals entering the hospital. He was then able to match a male subject entering the hospital with the DMV photo.

On May 3, 2017, Deputy Forman located the Durango and the subject who admitted to being in the area of Stafford Hospital when the incidents occurred. Aaron Lee Reese, age 42 of Theresa Drive in Stafford, VA., was served with two misdemeanor warrants for Hit and Run.
